Who will be attending the workshop?

The target age for the workshop includes youth between the ages of 18 – 35. The workshop is open to all interested youth. However, the content will be focused on the Vietnamese Community as the workshop is built on the component of the Community Building for Moving Forward project.

How many people will be attending this workshop?

We expect to have 150 people attending the workshop. Participants will be coming from across the country, primarily Ottawa , Montreal , Toronto , Edmonton , Calgary , Halifax and Vancouver .

Where will the workshop be held?

The workshop will be held at the Travelodge Convention Centre in Ottawa . It will begin at 5:00 PM on Friday, March 30 – 12:30 PM April 1 st .

Is there a special lodging rate?

The Travelodge Convention Centre has agreed to a special rate of $119, plus tax, per night, per room. Each room can have up to 2 people. You might also want to book online at www.hotels.ca and www.expedia.ca .

Is there anything I need to do to prepare in advance?

No, there is nothing you need to do in advance to prepare.

What does the $60 registration fee cover?

The $60 registration fee covers 5 meals over the course of the three days. Please note that this workshop was heavily subsidized by the organizing body and Canadian Heritage.

Is this workshop different from Len Duong?


This workshop is in many ways an extension of the Len Duong camp. If you went to Len Duong 2006, you will get to meet many of the participants here.

Is there a discount if I attend the Gala?
